Mission Transition welcomes support groups, organizations and individuals that wish to support our veterans and first responders.

Mission Transition raises funds through organizations and individual participation and sponsorship using facilities and cabins donated by Campo Rio Ranch based on event requirements, date, number of attendees and other related costs. 

Maximum event occupancy is 20 individuals including staff and volunteers depending at our covered River Pavilion. Catch and release fishing maximum event participants is 8 persons.

Events sponsored by individuals and businesses must provide their own activities, food, drinks and supplies, security, and event insurance if required by the ranch owner. Events sponsored by Mission Transition or ranch owner will typically include activities, food, drinks and supplies are included in the event ticket costs depending on the event and ranch owver requirment event insurance, security and other costs may be assessed. 

WIFI service is limited to certain areas on the property. Cell phone service is only available via WIFI calling, if your individual plan offers this option. Cell phone carrier service is not available on site. 

There are no medical/emergency services near the site. Because we are located in a remote area of the hill country, medical and emergency services are very limited. It may take several hours to receive needed emergency or other medical assistance. It is very important that every attendee discuss emergency services options with their support group or organizational leaders before making the decision to coming to our Mission Transition’s facilities or event. Mission Transition nor the landowner have medical or emergency facilities on site, nor offers medical or clinical personnel, assistance or capabilities. 

• The Mission Transition venues and its event areas are located on Campo Rio Ranch, a private hill country ranch that requires all visitor and participants to register online, prior to arriving. The venues and ranch have limited accessibility, including no ADA conforming wheelchair ramps, no paved roads or walkways. The property has rough and uneven terrain, trails and roads consisting of grass, dirt and rock surfaces. The venues and surrounding areas, walkways, trails, river banks, parks, roads and other parts of the property are not ADA compliant. It may take several hours for emergency medical and other services to arrive at site. Guest organizations will be responsible for the supervision, safety and needs of all its volunteers, participants and invitees while on the property. See Terms of Use for other important information.
